We were engaged by the client in the pre-purchase phase, when were enlisted to collaborate on the development of a vision of what was possible and to do due diligence with the county to ensure it was attainable. The client wanted an environment where her daughter could grow up with a lot of friends visiting on the weekends and where entertainment could occur seamlessly for various age groups.
The siting of major outdoor features such as swimming pool and spa were done in to maximize views of the Sonoma Mountains from the main house above the pool area while maintaining a strong connection between the home and landscape. We worked closely with the client on materials selection, engaging of general contractors, and overall management and construction for the entire project.
